The biggest questions in 21st century America will be: “Who cares?” and then, “If we do not care for others, who will care for us?” We should answer those questions by reinventing ourselves yet again—competing fiercely, but caring deeply, too. http://bit.ly/1gaohhL http://bit.ly/1gaohhL

I definitely like #1 and #2. Listening and Storytelling are two qualities that all of my favorite people have in common -especially when it comes to those in charge. One of my favorite bosses, Jason Petro, did a terrific job of staying late after work to listen to his team -and would always give his explanations for things not everyone agreed with in the context of an anecdote. I always really enjoyed that about his leadership style. http://bit.ly/KOx5fb

Good Morning! I like the perspective this article has. Networking isn't supposed to be selfish -it's supposed to be about community interest and collaboration. That's why I like it when folks don't simply use LinkedIn when they're on the job search -but rather as it was intended -a social networking tool for people to stay in touch and share helpful ideas across their industry contacts -even when (and especially when) they're happily employed.
